Get ready for an “extremely active” hurricane season

Generator dealers along the East Coast and in the Gulf --- get ready for an “extremely active” hurricane season here in 2024. Scientists at Colorado State have predicted the following:

  • 23 named storms
  • 11 hurricanes, and
  • 5 major hurricanes (winds of 111 mph and up)

That’s the most they’ve ever predicted in their April outlook.

What does that mean for you? More storms mean more outages, and a higher demand for home standby generators.
